Our History
It began innocently at the University
of
Utah. Two nerdy chemical engineering students met and fell madly in
like.
After graduation (June 94) we put our newly aquired engineering skills
to
practice at a gold mine in
Nevada. Two
years later, while Laura was turning dirt into gold, Justin moved from
chemical
engineering to the fast-paced technology industry. Another two years
went by,
and the added happiness of a slump in gold prices, we knew it was time
for us
to move. Laura accepted a job with Lafarge Corporation and we were off
to
Davenport,
Iowa; Laura
turning dirt into cement and Justin continuing his bits and bytes. Four
years
after that, Laura was transferred to Atlanta, so we moved again.
Justin got a
new job with youdecide.com that
keeps
him busy while Laura travels constantly for work.
Somewhere along the line, a trip to the
Island Wedding Chapel
was
made. (Legal at last!!!) Add a trip to the dog kennel for Xavier, and a
family
was formed.
